Introduction & Background
Founded in 2009 by Rachael Carter, SOHO Family Wines was established to create a premium boutique wine brand that reflects a passion for life, style, and individuality. Drawing grapes from the Carter Family Vineyards in Marlborough and Waiheke Island, as well as selected boutique estates, SOHO collaborates with three leading winemakers from Waiheke Island, Marlborough, and Central Otago to give each wine a distinct personality. Their ethos is to fuse great terroir with creativity and craftsmanship, resulting in award-winning wines recognised with numerous gold medals and trophies.

SOHO offers wines from three premier regions:

• Waiheke Island: Brut, Rosé, Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot Blend
• Marlborough: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir Rosé
• Central Otago: Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir
  The contemporary tasting room provides a stylish environment to sample their range, including some organic varieties.

Restaurant Style
SOHO features street food and small, flavour-packed plates curated by Chef Deb. Two local food trucks complement the chic dining setting.

Located at 74 Onetangi Road, Waiheke Island. Easily accessible via a 20-minute drive or bus ride from Matiatia Ferry Terminal or a 5-minute drive from Onetangi Beach.

• Wine Tastings: Walk-ins welcome for groups of 6 or fewer. Bookings required for groups of 7+.
